Full-fledged narratives to help readers dive deep into the big stories across ASU and UTO
It’s Giving Back Tuesday, and we are excited to announce the Giving Back Ambassador program! This program provides members of the UTO the opportunity to be more active in the Giving Back community, organize events, socialize the initiative, and represent our goal of supporting the community. Ambassadors are key to sustaining the Giving Back program, from championing events to assisting in specific program development.
From October 8 to October 26, UTO participated in a charitable competition to see what teams could raise the most money for the non-profit organization United Way. United Way supports numerous programs to improve health, educational, and financial stability in numerous communities across the country, and the penny wars fundraising at UTO pulled together $583 to that end. That’s support for food banks that can allow them to purchase more than 3,498 meals!

What made it even better is that the Ice House is a pool hall - the perfect place to engage over 350 IT professionals in conversations that matter. This hot event was aptly named Engage - fostering dialogue and collaboration about the interface of organizational culture and innovation for the University Technology Office and Arizona State University at large.
