Tech Studio reopening: now available for support!

Now more than ever, digital tools are foundational to excelling in one’s courses. When faced with technological difficulties, students may find themselves overwhelmed, shouldering additional stress that necessitates prompt assistance to avoid falling behind. Enter the Tech Studio: a welcoming space with experts at the ready, eager to provide one-on-one guidance and support at no cost to our students.

The ambitious initiative to relaunch a “new and improved” Tech Studio has been long underway. Finalized as of August 9, the Tempe location has begun offering services, open for walk-ins just a week shy of the fall semester. Though West, Polytechnic, and Downtown Phoenix locations are currently appointment-only, walk-in services are soon to come. Offering a wide array of services geared towards enhancing technological functionality and literacy, the Tech Studio has been redesigned with a magnified emphasis on student success.

Honoring the virtue of accessibility, the Tech Studio also recognizes that being "connected" isn't an advantage afforded to all - for many students, college is their first journey through the digital world. As ASU is measured by who we include, the Tech Studio is tailored in part to accommodate students who have never had the opportunity to develop technological literacy. With this demographic in mind, the Tech Studio aims to ensure student success by catering to those in need of hands-on, face-to-face service, those with hardware issues in need of physical inspection, and anyone encountering an IT quandary too nuanced to explain over the phone.
