UTO Showcases Exciting Developments at First Annual Innovation Day
On Friday, November 16, ASU held its first annual Innovation Day, showcasing impressive university-wide innovations. Capped off with an impressive performance by innovator, comedian, and musician Reggie Watts, the event had a clear theme: How can we innovate not just for the sake of innovating, but to make demonstrable change? This was kept in mind for UTO’s presence at the event.
From demonstrating the newly renovated “smart” Sun Devil Stadium’s ability to engage its audience in fun ways to illustrating Amazon Alexa’s potential to disrupt how we interface with technology, UTO’s focus was how its innovative developments benefit ASU students. To that end, the employees representing UTO at its booth in the stadium answered questions and passed out a beautifully designed informational booklet that covered the most important developments of the past year or so.
