Microsoft Office 2019 Coming to ASU

Office 2019 is coming to all classrooms, libraries and computing sites across all campuses, and the newest version of the suite of Microsoft tools has a number of new features to help get your coursework done.

  • Word now supports LaTeX syntax for math equations (Windows version only).

  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint can now use Microsoft Translator for language translation.

  • Digital pens can now be used as clickers to advance slides in PowerPoint (Windows version only).

  • Morph can help you make smooth animations, transitions and object movement in PowerPoint.

  • “Inking” allows you to draw with a pen, finger or mouse in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio and convert your work into shapes, write out math problems, highlight text and more.
