Global Accessibility Awareness Day at ASU

Join us for three UTO-sponsored workshops to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day. Help us to raise awareness and understanding of accessibility among the design, development, usability, and related communities who build, shape, fund and influence technology and its use.

2:00-2:30 - Learn to test a webpage for accessibility from an expert. David Davis is a Quality Assurance Analyst with UTO who has tested hundreds of sites.

2:30-3:00 - Terri Hedgpeth, the Director of the EOSS Technology Team, demonstrates the devices and assistive technology she uses daily to access information.

3:00-3:30 - Find out how to make images on your web pages accessible, and get tips on writing great alt text from Kathy Marks, a Web Accessibility Specialist with UTO's Dev team.

3:30-4:00 - Q&A
