Financial Tool Workshop

As part of a new transition into Workday as a new financial system for ASU’s Business and Finance and the University Technology Office, the pair held a joint showcase of the report tools last week. “We know that this is a scary time for those that work with financial data,” UTO Director of Analytics Kristin Kennedy said.

About 80 people participated in-person at the Memorial Union on Tempe campus, while over 175 joined online. The showcase showed users various ways to use the tools of Workday, a financial management system, and how to access the financial data they’ll need to do their job while keeping the information of the ASU community secure.

“We hope they all feel better that, between Business and Finance and University Technology Office, we are all here to help and are committed to making sure this is a smooth implementation,” Kennedy said.
