In the Season 3 premiere, City of Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego joins ASU Chief Information Officer and series host Lev Gonick inside a Waymo to explore AI and the future of the city. And what better way to do that than from the backseat of an autonomous vehicle as they travel to the sixth annual Smart Region Summit, being hosted at the Phoenix Art Museum on Tuesday, March 26.
Take a ride with Mayor Gallego and Gonick to gain insights into how the City of Phoenix leads the way in AI – from being the largest autonomous vehicle region in the world to exploring the use of AI in water monitoring systems, and more. Mayor Gallego also speaks about joining the Transforming Transportation Advisory Committee. She is the only Mayor to be appointed to serve on the nearly 30 person committee, created by the Office of the Secretary of Transportation.
