UTO ‘By the Numbers’ for Q4 Showcase Support of New Learning Experiences

As ASU and UTO have refined and innovated new approaches to learning experiences over the final months of fiscal year 2020, it became clear that the foundation of the work necessary to build a connected environment for students -- wherever they are now able to learn -- has been building for years.

For example, ASU’s enterprise-wide adoption of Zoom yielded nearly 570,000 sessions using the video conferencing tool, from classes to webinars to staff meetings, a 221 percent increase from last quarter. Slack daily users who used the real-time communication hub to collaborate and learn reached more than 20,000, 60 percent increase from Q3.

Plus, 24 Remote Resilience articles told the story of how the ASU community shined in a tumultuous time. Alongside impressive achievements in ASU Mobile App usage, the dedication of UTO’s security team in keeping ASU community members’ information safe and the Experience Center’s commitment to customer delight, UTO’s Q4 By the Numbers booklet showcases the reach of the University Technology Office in serving ASU.
