BY CORINNA BUSCIGLIO – MARCH 22, 2016

Congratulations to UTO’s Chief Information Security Officer and Assistant Vice President, Tina Thorstenson!  She has been inducted into the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) Hall of Fame. Tina has been a volunteer with the HEUG for the past 20 years, and she has contributed to a number of vital roles during her time with the organization. She has served on many HEUG Advisory Groups, led tracks for the Alliance Conference, and spent six years on the Board of Directors, including serving as the Vice President of Technology.

The HEUG Hall of Fame Award is composed of four primary areas. The recipients must demonstrate leadership in important initiatives that advance HEUG, and they must exhibit outstanding service to the HEUG membership. Recipients must display respected professional membership within the higher education community, and lastly, they must demonstrate ongoing contributions to HEUG. For these reasons and many more, we congratulate Tina on this fantastic award!
