David Weinberger, Best-Selling Author

Join ASU’s University Technology Office at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication for the first installment of Technology in the Public Interest: An Author Series -- "Chaos Journalism: AI, Democracy, and Our Future." Technology in Public Interest: An Author Series provides a deep dive into how modern advancements can serve our society through personal stories shared by some of today’s most influential authors of technology. The environment will be intentionally small-scale for a more intimate experience. We hope to see you for this first installment as best-selling author David Weinberger guides participants through chaos of modern technology and how the tools that created it can also allow us to harness unprecedented amounts of data for the greater good. David will focus on his book, Everyday Chaos, which will be available for purchase after the talk. Cronkite School Professor of Practice, Dan Gillmor, will be on hand to give a special interview with David. Registration is free and open to the public.
