Slack @ ASU

What is Slack?

Slack is the equivalent of ASU’s digital campus -- a collaboration hub that enables real-time communications and connections in a searchable platform for real-time messaging, content sharing, learning, and more.

Research shows people are relying less on email in favor of a more all-encompassing, collaborative tools. In Spring 2019, UTO made Slack available University-wide to help foster deeper communities of practice and leadership, enabling ASU community members to organize discussions and activities by team or subject matter.

Discover peers with shared academic focuses, projects, passions, and expertise. Slack works to break down silos, making it much easier to organize projects and activities with students, faculty, and staff across ASU. To date, ASU is the first university to adopt Slack for the whole enterprise.
