How can the Tech Studio assist with Wifi issues?

We are happy to help with Wifi troubleshooting. Generally, to login to the encrypted wireless network(s) on your device:

  1. Select your wireless settings
  2. Select ASU from the list of wireless networks
  3. Log-in with your ASURITE ID and password and accept the certificate if prompted.

If you are still encountering problems with accessing wifi, please visit the Tech Studio for assistance. You may also contact the Experience Center at 1-855-278-5080.

How can the Tech Studio assist with hardware and equipment issues?


Associates will offer a comprehensive review of the issues a client's devices exhibit. This includes identifying whether the issue is due to faulty hardware, or can instead be attributed to a software error. After making this determination, the Tech Studio will then provide guidance and direction on next steps for hardware repair.

What if I have questions about technology I'm using in class like Canvas, Slack, or Zoom?

We support the use of ASU’s suite of learning technology issues such as Canvas, Slack, Zoom, Adobe, Yellowdig, Playposit, Voicethread, Inscribe, etc. We can provide assistance for navigating the tools and how to use them but we can't complete your assignments for you!

How can the Tech Studio assist with DUO dual authentication issues?

Duo Two-factor: The facts are that ASURITE accounts compromises have dropped considerably with the implementation of two-factor.  While the external threats have remained relatively constant at 172 billion per year, our instances of potentially compromised accounts dropped by roughly 40%, from 663 in 2016 to 393 in 2017.

ASU has enabled Duo two-factor authentication for ASU Exchange email accounts to protect against the significant increase we have seen in phishing attacks.

The Tech studio can assist you in setting up and navigating DUO, as well as address any malfunctions you encounter with the device you choose for two-factor authentication.

How can the Tech Studio assist with malware concerns?

Anti-malware: ASU's information security team suggests several anti-malware tools. All antivirus solutions should be properly configured to automatically retrieve the latest updates, perform regular scans, and scan files on access.

The Tech Studio offers computer hardware and software diagnostic support, as well as recommendations and best practices for strong cybersecurity. 

How can the Tech Studio assist with software and operating system glitches?


The Tech Studio provides a thorough, comprehensive review of devices and the issues they display. Associates can assist in both uninstalling and reinstalling software/operating systems, as well as providing how-to tutorials when applicable.

What if I can't make it to the Tech Studio at this time?

Unable to visit the Tech Studio in person? No problem. The Experience Center is the front door for all ASU services and provides the highest level of service and support to our ASU family and beyond.
