Envelopes are the basic mechanics by which documents are sent through DocuSign for signature.  They are useful for one off documents that need a signature or a few fields.

The envelope consists of:

  • Documents to be sent
  • Workflow of recipients
  • Email subject and body
  • Expiration and automatic reminders
