Culture Weavers Community of Practice
Culture Weavers works with an intent to weave an organizational culture at UTO for Digital Transformation and Customer Delight. We are embarking on a journey to transform our organizational culture. There are many reasons for this, not the least of which is to develop a generative culture to support digital transformation and the day-to-day work that delights our customers.
Over 100 UTO employees have volunteered to hold the developmental work of UTO as a whole system. The Culture Weavers Community of Practice meets bi-weekly to learn about and practice organizational development, mindfulness, cultural competency and methods for strategic collaboration as they organize to create inclusive and invigorating activities that serve to align us with our core values and principles. Embracing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
We seek a culture that not only understands the breathe and depth of what it means to embrace differences, but one that also takes purposeful action to ensure, maintain and grow a richer more open, embracing and equitable environment for everyone.
The Culture Weavers Operations teamlet exists to provide logistical support to the other teamlets and our Chief Culture Officer in their efforts to bring the vision of Culture Weavers to life. The Culture Operations team maintains and improves the Certificate of Appreciation – Pay it Forkward Application, as well as the gathering of data around the Culture Weavers meetings.

The Invigorate Teamlet charter is to work together to uplift UTO and the community and to help people know that they are valued. As a teamlet of UTO Culture Weavers, The Invigorate Teamlet is designed to actively engage ourselves and others in activities that demonstrate UTO’s positive core values. Our goal is to tap into the harmonious, synergy created by our intentional kindness to strengthen our organizational culture, increase trust, and to build bridges across ASU. We are a group of action! We celebrate inclusivity, we trust openness, we show appreciation. We believe!
The Alignment Teamlet in Cultures Weavers focuses efforts on aligning to the Positive Core. Incorporating the core values: Relational, Authentic, Visionary, and Empowered into various initiatives. We emphasize the importance of connecting with our UTO family in a genuine, mindful manner. Most recently we have been working on the importance of self-awareness and how it relates to our work, teams, shared goals, and collaboration within UTO.
